Hotel Posada de las Minas located in Mineral de Pozos is an elegantly restored mansion originally built in the late XIX century in this charming historic town.
Located in the state of Guanajuato, in the central highlands of Mexico and the Sierra Gorda Mountains, Mineral de Pozos and its surrounding hills are filled with the spectacular ruins of hundreds of abandoned mines, some dating back to the late 16th century.
Here, situated in this scenic landscape which beckons to artists, photographers, hikers, bicyclists or just seekers of solitude, you will find Posada de las Minas, a welcome addition to the recent awakening of this sleepy little Mexican village.
Posada de Las Minas well-appointed guest rooms come with fireplaces, televisions, ceiling fans, and radiant floor heating for those cooler nights.
